Create a masterpiece menu of artworks good enough to eat! In this two-week camp, students will take inspiration from contemporary artist-foodies like Claes Oldenburg, Peter Anton, Lucy Sparrow, and Wayne Thiebaud—masters of creating delectable sculptures and paintings. Campers will dish up their own feasts for the eyes, crafting papier-mâché cakes (complete with plaster “icing”), giant candy wrappers, clay confections, hand-sewn felt foods, and realistic breakfast, lunch, and dinner courses made from the most unexpected ingredient—toilet paper!
